All festivals celebrated are of great tradition and therefore have a large participation.
Bajada de La Virgen de los Reyes
It is the most important festival of all. It is held every 4 years, the first Saturday of July. The next will take place in the 2,009.
This procession is the image of the Virgen de los Reyes from his hermitage to the town of Valverde (approximately 42 km), accompanied by dancers with multicolored caps, Chaco (sort of castanets) and his classic red and white attire, as well as drums and whistles (a kind of flute) and almost all the island's population, which was added a few thousand visitors from more diverse backgrounds.
The festival lasts nearly a month, during which the image of the Virgin visit the most important towns on the island.
